Where we are: the Context
La Piazzetta Apartments are located on the first and second floor of a building located in the heart of the lively Colombare di Sirmione area.
Nearby there are some of the most well-known commercial activities.
On the ground floor, overlooking the small but characteristic “Piazzetta”, there are a bakery and a restaurant.
The bakery
To start your day in the best possible way, on the ground floor facing the small square, you will find “Forno integrAle²“. Here, passion meets high-quality ingredients: croissants, focaccia, and various types of bread await you for a perfect breakfast.

La Piazzetta Apartments are located along the main street of Colombare di Sirmione, an area full of life and activities until the evening.
The Old Town of Sirmione is just 3 km away.
Easily reachable on foot, by bike or with the convenient shuttle bus which runs every 15-20 minutes from April to October.
The bus stop is located just 140 meters from our Apartments.
How to reach us
La Piazzetta Apartments are located in a strategic position, in the heart of Colombare di Sirmione.
By car, coming from the A4 Milan-Venice highway, just 10 minutes from the exit of Sirmione.
Those traveling by train can get off at Desenzano del Garda or Peschiera del Garda railway station and then take a bus or a taxi to reach Sirmione.
The nearest airports are Verona – Valerio Catullo (31 km far away) or Bergamo – Orio Al Serio at about 88 km.
The La Piazzetta Apartments boast a central location to the main cities; Brescia, Verona and Mantua are indeed within a radius of about 45 km.

Piazza Mercato Parking Space

Just a few meters from La Piazzetta Apartments, you will find Piazza Mercato with convenient parking spaces. Direct access to the apartments is available via the path connecting Bar Perlage to the small square (La Piazzetta).
However, in the immediate vicinity there are many other free places where you can find parking.
The typical Monday market
Every Monday, from 07:00 AM to 02:00 PM, the central section of Via Colombare and part of Piazza Mercato are closed to traffic for the weekly market. You will find numerous stalls selling fresh products (fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese), household goods, clothing, and much more.
Important Parking Warning:
During this time, traffic is diverted, and parking is prohibited in Piazza Mercato. Vehicles parked in the stall areas may be towed away.
You can park in one of the neighboring streets marked in green on the map below (e.g., Piazzale Montemurro, Via Roma, Via Molise, Via M.A. Durighello, Via Asilo, Via IV Novembre). In red the part occupied by the market, where you can not park.
The Friday night markets
From June to September, every Friday from 6 pm to 11 pm, the main road of Via Colombare is closed to traffic to make place for the markets, becoming a single pedestrian area.
The markets that enliven the evenings of Sirmione attract lovers and curious in search of the unique opportunity or curious object, the memory of grandmother or the food and wine specialties really genuine and, in a short time, have become a tradition awaited.
